How Pawprint Trust came to be.
Our Journey
Pawprint Trust Founded
Pawprint Trust was formally established and registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (Charity No. 1195918), marking the beginning of our mission to support animals in need.
Initial Registration with the Fundraising Regulator
Alongside our Charity Commission registration, we registered with the Fundraising Regulator, committing to the Code of Fundraising Practice and the Fundraising Promise from our very first day.
Current Registration Period Begins
Our Fundraising Regulator registration was renewed for the period 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, reaffirming our ongoing commitment to regulated, transparent fundraising.
Registration Renewal Due
Our next Fundraising Regulator renewal is due in March 2026. We remain committed to full compliance and look forward to continuing our work for animal welfare.
Where We Came From
Pawprint Trust was born from a passion for animal welfare and a belief that every animal deserves a safe and loving home. What began as a small grassroots effort has grown into a registered charity committed to making a difference, one paw at a time.
From the outset, we knew that transparency and accountability were not optional — they were essential. That is why we registered with both the Charity Commission and the Fundraising Regulator simultaneously, and why we continue to uphold the Code of Fundraising Practice in everything we do.
Our story is still being written. With the support of our donors, volunteers, and the wider community, we look forward to helping many more animals find the safe, loving homes they deserve.
